had carrots for lunch yesterday and have them for lunch today. have also been eating sunflower seeds with dried cranberries for a snack at work.

last night had a nice dinner with a friend which was baked chicken and portobello mushrooms served on a bed of lettuce and topped with cooked carrots.
made a tasty salad yesterday of diced tomatoes and cucumbers plus tuna fillets. Added salt, pepper, balsamic, and olive oil. It was easy and tasty.
the green salad i had at lunch today was really tangy and crunchy and good. i had a heritage tomato salad with baby mozz and extra virgin and 7-year-old balsamic on the weekend and it was the best tasting salad EVER!!
this past weekend i went on a wellness retreat and ate really well, including fresh fruit and green vegetables.
i had a green salad for lunch. this may not sound like an accomplishment but i am trying to make better food choices.
last night i ate some chips and a snickers bar in front of the tv. how’s that for eating out of boredom? but would i have eaten the apple if i had one in the house?
so far today i’ve had some yogurt and berries and some baby carrots. not bad. this goal is on my mind and so i am mindful of my food choices.
