Calling this done 2 weeks ago

Although I got into the habit of bringing my pinhole cameras with me when I was shooting film, it was harder to get into the habit of picking up the film from my photo lab. Their hours are limited (Monday through Friday only, and closing before six), and I guess the “free” cost of digital makes any film processing expenses seem more expensive.
Today I picked up film I had shot a while ago and although one film came back unexposed (what the heck!), the other shows that I fixed the problem I had with it on the first shoot. I still have to scan them, but I feel like I’ve mastered how to use each camera and its eccentricities.
I think that when I want to shoot film I’ll continue to consider these cameras a viable option, but I think I also feel all the more tied to digital for its budget-friendliness.

Can I call this done? 4 months ago

I had three pinhole cameras and had put film through two of them. Today I was finally going to try shooting with the third today but when I loaded it up I realized that it wasn’t designed well and would be seriously flawed to work with. Since I had two functioning pinhole cameras, and hated the look and design of this one, I decided to toss it rather than waste a roll of film on seeing that I was right.

So – I have shot each of the (remaining) pinhole cameras. I think once I shoot with them again I will call this one done.

Two-thirds there 6 months ago

I’ve put film through two of my three pinhole cameras, and film came back acceptably on both. For one I need to wind the film more (there was overlap) and on the other, less. I’ll know more once I scan up the negatives.
The third camera is the one that I believe would be the least likely to be light tight. It’s also the one whose design I like the least. Therefore, if I put film through it and find that it doesn’t work, it’s going in the trash. Two cameras would be more than enough!
