I had a great workout last night at the pond. I swam a lot with Billy and then he decided to jump in the canoe and fish for awhile so I was left alone. So we had a big air mattress out there and I made a workout by letting the mattress float away and then I would see how quickly I swim to it to pull it back, then let it float away again.
Swimming is the second best cardio workout you can do, after running. Not only did I get my heart rate up there, my arms, back and legs are so sore this morning. I wish I could make it out to the pond more often.
I’ve been struggling with my weight since Freshman year of college. Right now I’m around 175 and my ultimate goal is 120. I’m only 5’2 so 120 would be healthy. I’m definitely not living very healthily right now and it upsets me.
