Turns out they won’t be meeting until after the first week of September. Despite the website stating:
Today is Wednesday
Classes begin today at 7 pm
So it’ll be a few more weeks until I can bring my butt kicking skills out of retirement.
In other news, I started econometrics today. The professor handed out his syllabus, gave us the pass/fail stats from last semester, told us he won’t be there next week, but will hold classes tomorrow and Friday (some of which many of us, me included, won’t be able to attend). I’m very nervous about my jump from 400 level stats to 700 level econometrics (even more so after opening the book). But, I’m where I want to be. I’ve made it a long way without ever having to apply myself completely, totally, utterly, and fully. This seems like the time put all of myself into something.
