OH, MY GOODNESS  — 2 weeks ago

I went to Oakridge today, and there was a Rosetta Stone stand!!!

I was talking to my dad, and I turned around. GASP.

It was like

one

of

the

best

days

of

my

life.

Wait, I take that back.

It almost was one of the best days of my life. If I bought it.

I decided that I wouldn’t because I would be juggling English (SAT vocab words), French, and Russian! That’s way too much for me to handle at once. So I might get it… I don’t know when. When I have another Kazakhstan trip planned? Who know when that’ll happen. Anyway, it’s about $350 for Levels 1 and 2. It’s $499 for Levels 1, 2, and 3. (Do I really need Level 3…? I mean… I’m not going to live in Kazakhstan or Russia!)

So I’m still contemplating on whether I should buy it or not…

But oh, that would have been absolutely splendid if I had gotten it anyway.

My mother  — 4 weeks ago

said that I could get Rosetta Stone for Russian in the summer!!! :D YAY!!!

I’m going to be able to speak to my “relatives” in Kazkahstan! (:

Plus, it turns out that it’s one of the four important languages to know if you’re joining the Peace Corps (which I will be doing once I get out of college!).

I only know  — 2 months ago

Cyrillic! but not what the actual words mean. Boo hoo.

I was inspired  — 2 months ago

when I went to Kazakhstan over the summer one and a half years ago. I was there for about three weeks, and everybody spoke Russian. I just became really interested in the language, so I’m planning to buy Rosetta Stone for Russian… someday when I earn the money.

... maybe in college. So far away! D:
