Just saw this documentary of an Eskimo family living in Northern Canada called Nanook of the North. It was just beautiful in so many ways. Nanook and his clan built Igloos and carved them out of stiff snow with his make-shift knife/Walrus tusk. They hunted seal, walrus, fox and other animals in the artic circle area. The most touching scene to me is a scene with Nanook and wife Nala’s baby petting the puppies born to their dog-sled team. What a harsh life – still I seem to want to sleep in an igloo anyway.

Most definitely. In Greenland somewhere certainly with the dogsledding. What excitement!!!!! Also learning how to build an Igloo would be great.3
To add onto the other posts, I think the Ice Hotels look great, I’d love to make it to one. Wouldn’t that make for an interesting honeymoon thinking about it… I could see Bear Grylls and his wife going there – LOL! (though I don’t know them.) I think there is one Ice Hotel in Finland and on In Canada (there could be more at this point.) They give you special thermal sleeping covers. it’s looks like Icy fun!
