spend a day taking photos of my city

a couple of days ago, a group of flickrites took a little walk through the abandoned train station and other places and took many photos. it was fun.

i took both my cameras, the 35mm one and the digital one.
i haven’t developed the film yet, cause i’d like to try and do two at once (my tank holds two) and i haven’t had a chance to go out again. i also need some supplies since my last film were a bit…spotted. probably cause i don’t have an actual stop bath for the developer or something like that, but i found a solution.

i suffered a small setback, i’ve been using an old camera of my mom’s to learn the basics of film photography, but no photos came out cause of a tiny problem with the courtain that cover the lens on the back of the camera. at least 4 rolls of film were lost.
now it’s fixed, i took a roll just to be sure, so i can now start again.
i’m thinking of going to the cementery. after “blink” i developed an irrational fear of gothic statues and i would really like to photograph some.

i got a camera!! my old digital camera had suffered an accident and i didnt have a digital one, just the one with film. my uncle, who had a part in the accident, bought me a new one.
it’s not a very good camera, at least, for what i want
(it’s a samsung. it’s got toys,effect, but it’s kinda foolproof, doesnt offer options)
but he said i can change it for one i like and he has the receipt, since he knows he is no expert and i may like something else.

this sucks, i went to develop my film and turns out there was some mistake, at some point the camera was opened and the film was completely ruined. all my photos and all my work was lost.

it was the terrible start of an awful day.

last friday i went to the bus station to take some pictures
it was around 7pm and i saw all the people leaving.
im thinking of going tomorrow morning to take pics of ppl arriving

i thought i’d be a good idea to do it by parts.
today i took a walk in a bothanical garden inside campus.
it’s pretty large and since it was a sunny day there were a lot of people there. took photos of trees ,nature,people, the landscapes, myself, the river,etc.
it was fun.

i ‘ll do this soon. i’m thinking of asking a friend to do it with me, at leas to hold an umbrella while i take photos
