Just not happening in the way I originally thought, or as quickly. That’s ok. We’ll get there.

Keeping the details to myself for now, but kind of cool to know. :)
... this is will definitely happen in my lifetime. Whether it’s the US or Europe or somewhere further afield or further from the customs I am used to, I just somehow imagine this will happen. How? When? NO clue… yet.
I don’t think my 5+ weeks working at a camp in the USA counts, officially – although technically it sort of does.
Some wouldn’t consider the US that foreign compared to Canada, but for all the similarities, there are also many differences. Don’t ever doubt it! In all fairness, I love the States and the nation will always be special to me. And only God knows if the future entails my living there (officially) ... or anywhere else, for that matter!
But the real reason for my post … England. Something to keep in mind if I ever get serious about this goal (or the doors all open up and it’s simply time) is that it might be relatively easy for me to apply to work in the UK because of my ancestry/heritage. Between being the grandchild of a British citizen (as far as I know…) and also being a Canadian, there are ways I can apply to be legally employed but without the hassles and bother of work permits. Amazing, no?
Here’s to the future!
