I slid back on this for a while so am now picking it back up. This week I’ve gotten some water but I’m not drinking nearly enough. I heard the other day that the body needs water only 2nd to oxygen.

with getting my water in consistently. Still not sure if I get exactly 8 glasses in each day, but I’ve established the pattern. I’m going to mark this as complete, but will continue on with this and increase as it becomes more of an ingrained habit. I do feel better when I’m getting in my fluids and while I haven’t been as diligent about my food choices, still have not gained any weight. So…definitely worth it to drink my water;)
Well, I’ve seemed to fall off the wagon a bit on this one. I got some water each day, but some days as little as 20 oz. I seem a bit apathetic after my weekend bust. But, I’ll keep working on this. It’s important.
So I was feeling all good about my water intake and hoping to have this one crossed off the list…but then the weekend came and all thoughts of goals and all planning seemed to fly out the window. This has been my issue with exercise, taking vitamins, drinking water etc. I’ll do great with the structure of my work day, but then on the weekend I’ll falter.
Saturday I got in about 40 oz. and yesterday…virtually none.
So starting again today and will not count this as accomplished until I complete 7 days in a row.
Well, so far so good this week. I’m fairly impressed that I’ve stayed focused on my commitment to this goal. I do find it somewhat of a challenge if I don’t get started with water early in the day. As bedtime approaches, I’m less inclined to be drinking it.
Well, I’m at 60 oz. right now so it’s pretty certain I’ll get those last 4 oz. in before bedtime. It feels good to be hydrated and to be working toward accomplishing this goal.
I recently heard about a book called Your Body’s Many Cries for Water. Has anyone read it or have any opinions about it? I’m thinking of purchasing it, but wanted some first hand information first.
Today I drank 64+ ounces of water. Most of which I consumed before 2pm today. I also walked at lunch. Feeling good and hoping to be consistent with this goal.
This is a hard task for me. On my best day I have maybe gotten in about 40 oz. of water. If one is supposed to drink eight 8 oz. glasses…I’m not quite at the mark. I seem to ebb and flow with this one…and in the last week have not gotten much water in my system. Monday 2/20 I’ll really begin to stive toward this goal. I will consider it accomplished if I can get my full 8 glasses in each day for an entire week. Hopefully it will be the momentum I need to continue establishing this habit as a part of my daily routine.
