16. The Adventures of the Wishing Chair by Enid Blyton

17. The Hundred Secret Senses by Amy Tan

18. James and the Giant Peach by Roald Dahl

19. The Forgotten Garden by Kate Morton

15. The Angel's Game by Carlos Ruiz Zafon 4 months ago

Same author as one of my favourite books “Shadow of the Wind” – perhaps not as good as the former but a brilliant, engrossing read nonetheless and it had me pining for Barcelona again.

14. Five Quarters of the Orange by Joanne Harris 4 months ago

Great read. I’ve loved all her books.

13. The Wasp Factory by Iain Banks 5 months ago

I enjoyed it but not as engrossing as expected.

12. Grasshopper by Barbara Vine 6 months ago

It got relatively engrossing towards the end but was fairly mediocre most of the way through.

10 & 11 7 months ago

10. The No1 Ladies’ Detective Agency by Alexander McCall Smith

11. Charlie and the Chocolate Factory by Roald Dahl

5 - 9 8 months ago

5. The Metamorphosis – Franz Kafka
6. Twilight – Stephanie Meyer
7. Eat, Pray, Love – Elizabeth Gilbert
8. The Twits – Roald Dahl
9. The Magic Faraway Tree – Enid Blyton

4. A Thousand Splendid Suns by Khaled Hosseini 10 months ago

Same author as The Kite Runner and I think I enjoyed this one more. Another look into the tumultuous lives of the Afghani people, this time from 2 women’s perspectives.

3. Alice's Adventures in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll 11 months ago

Another book I’ve been reading to Liam over the past month or so. I didn’t quite get it finished in time before the pantomime today but finished the last chapter this evening.
