He was hesistant to take a great opportunity because of how it may impact the time he has available for me and the boys…but he said, most especially me! I talked him into going for it, though, because it was too great of an opportunity for him professional to be wasted! Plus he’ll get to go to all of the home OSU football games.

That he gets so worried about even the small things with our boys. Our youngest has a pretty bad case of diaper rash that sprung up out of no where and he’s is just as worried about it as I am. I guess he’s involved enough that he changes enough diapers to know that he has a diaper rash…a lot of my friend’s husband would have no clue about stuff like that!

He made sure our tent was dried out before he put it away! No mildew! YAY! And I didn’t even have to ask him!

He tried to figure out the new washing machine (that he hasn’t touched except to remove clothes to put in the dryer for the last 3 months we’ve owned it) so that he could help me get a leg up on laundry after our big camping trip. He’s scared of it…it’s a new front loading and seems much more complicated to him than our old clunker of a top loader. But in the end I was able to do it myself.

He’s putting on a brave face for our upcoming family camping trip. He’s a bit nervous about sleeping in a tent with me, a 3 yr old and a 1 year old. But, he’s not saying anything negative and is enjoying the 3 year old’s excitement!

He took the kids on for the day, without complaint or question, so I could go and have lunch with a good friend!

Tonight I found out something really awful about a friend and her husband. He listened so patiently while I vented and just let me get it all out without trying to “fix it.” He just knew that I needed to talk about it and wasn’t ready for suggestion about what I should do.

He tries really hard…by this I mean he tries really hard to make sure things are going right in our household and with me and the kids. If something isn’t working he tries to help me find a solution to get it working!

He’s letting me plan something for our anniversary this year. We haven’t for the last several years due to having very small children. This year we’ve decided we’re going to go away for at least an overnight trip!

He took the kids to his parents so I could get some cleaning done uninterrupted! And I’ve also had a chance to have some alone, me time, too! Yay!
