I’m finally beginning to have fun with Toonsket. Toonsket now supports cartoon serials and graphical stories. I tried writing a little serial myself: http://www.toonsket.com/display_single_magazine.php?cmd=view&id=1001

I need to make lots of improvements in the look and feel and design of the site, but we’re on our way.

Sending greeting cards online can be really nasty. Firstly, there might be a lot of advertisement on the site to wade through. Secondly, most of the cards you get in email look very much like spam. Finally, when the card is sent, there is very little in it by way of a personal gesture.

Toonsket is meant to allow each user to design their own cards and to put something of themselves into it. It accepts user signatures, allows the incorporation of users’ photographs into cards, and you can even send a paper copy of the card to the recipient.
