Ok, well not a quilt pattern, but a pattern that I think would translate well to a quilt. I’m thinking of doing various shades of the same color. Maybe blues? Greens? Purples? I think red would be too manic, but orange might be nice….

I picked out some black and white fabrics today. I got one red and black quarter, too. I figure i’ll collect a bunch here and there and then do bits at a time.

I’m opting to do a simple, mod/retro quilt for my first one. I think I will use a pattern from “The Modern Quilt Workshop.”

I’ve never done this before. I am anticipating getting some gift cards for Christmas to get the supplies and equipment.
