Boo.
When it heals, I’ll be on the road again. Until then, lots of streching and lots of walking in good shoes.
Tonight I went for my first walk/run. The trail was nearly deserted as it was twilight and drizzly. It made me a bit less self concious.
I hadn’t loaded the timed play list I created, so I just ran for one minute of each song and walked the rest. I ended up taking more time between running bursts, but I ended up running about 10 minutes overall.
As I ran, my form got better, my limbs got looser, my movements became more fluid. I can’t wait for the day when the mechanics are effortless and I can simply enjoy.
I’ll start this today, depending on what my sweetie has planned for his birthday. Tomorrow if not…
I’ve got a playlist set up in iTunes to tell me when to switch. I’m so excited!
