life 2 years ago

has presented me with a number of issues lately, firstly…i may be pregnant which is an exciting development but it also forces me to examine my life and how i live it. i am always very busy and i love being active but the past few months have been very stressful at work and i’ve forgotten to stop and relax.

i want to set little goals for myself to keep so that i can slow down! maybe that will help!



this will be hard for the next 2 months 2 years ago

i’ve realized that i’m going to have to work a lot of overtime over the next two months which means that slowing down and taking time for myself is going to be hard. that being said, i’m dedicated to retaining as much of my personal life as i can…i won’t skip family events, nor will i miss games/the gym to work!

plus, at the end of it, i think i’ll have enough money to pay off all of my debt which is great!



had breakfast 2 years ago

i actually sat down and ate my breakfast and it was so enjoyable! i felt much less rushed and even though it took an extra 10 minutes, i had a much nicer morning!

did more of my puzzle and cleaned today to get back into my own space, then i lit about 10 candles and slowly felt the stress of christmas slide away! v exciting way to end the year!



took a nap and now i'm bored 2 years ago

after 2 weeks of holiday madness i feel lost when i’ve got nothing to do!

need to get used to the feeling of having my own time back!



it snowed last night 2 years ago

so i walked a bit this morning and then met the bus 1/2 way…i would have liked to walk the whole way but i wasn’t feeling that energetic!

still felt nice to put on my ear muffs and my walking boots and stroll down the snowlined streets!



going to take time 2 years ago

i don’t want to schedual things this week because there is so much going on still but i do want to get some things done!

i will try and write thank you cards this week!



took the day off 3 years ago

and just relaxed around here. it was strange and made me feel kind of lost but i think that’s a sign that my life is too busy!

its helping! i put a sticky on my monitor at work and i remind myself as often as i can!



working on this 3 years ago

its tough but i’m getting better. i slept in this morning and stopped to enjoy the sound and sight of my tree being blown around in the windstorm. it was wonderful and now i’m relaxing and cleaning my space with is important to my sense of self!
