so, you know, i have a big super party to go to in July, and my best friend’s wedding in August. I want to look the best I can. I have tons of pounds to lose. so, i am eliminating sugar and flour from my diet, and i am exercising everyday for this month, and the months leading up to these events, and forever after. i have to. i want to. this will heal me of fatness.
yo, knottylady’s success story has reaally been inspiring me. i will start tomorrow. for me, I’m going to commit to 30 minutes of cardio, for 30 days straight. that will get me through the holidays.
two days straight so far… biked 30 minutes yesterday, and 20 minutes today—thinking that if i commit to at least 20 (which used to be at least 40—which i know is the real deal ‘goal’)i will be able to this more as a ‘daily’ thing. tomorrow morning, i’ll be there…
joined a gym that’s on the corner of my house. location for me makes a great difference. did 30 minutes of cardio yesterday and today. I’m back.
hmm. well, i haven’t been working on this goal at all. my time is literally strapped with work. i knew this would happen… i have to integrate more exercise in my day to day living so that i still have something in place when getting to the gym takes out too much time. i have to do 40 minutes of exercise some kind of way, everyday. period. its getting to be warmer out so hopefully i can make this happen.
i guess consistency is going to have to do for me at this point. i think if i get to the work out—that I’ll either have a good one, a better one, or an ‘at least I went’ one. so, if i keep going, or i just commit to doing SOMETHING ACTIVE/EXERCISING then i will be better off in the long run. i now only consider my exercise ‘real exercise’ if i go to the gym. i am going to have to pump up other forms of exercise and get serious about that. maybe i will try city feats—like climbing certain stairs of certain buildings. hmm… we’ll see… yes, i like the idea of creating challenging non-gym exercises for me. maybe better weather will make this easier. i’ve exercised 3 days straight.
i;ve been exercising 4 times a week, which was an old goal. now, i have to recommit myself to this goal again.
my weight loss is really on point since i’ve added this goal as well. i’ve lost 41.8 pounds so far! and exercise is helping so much to keep my losses consistent and me feeling great. good luck all…!
