I’m down one pound and some ounces (almost 2 pounds) from where I was at the beginning of the month. Of course, it could just be water/premenstrual weight that I’ve lost. I had fallen back into the habit of not drinking, or drinking soda. A lot. Easing back there, I’ve brought my water intake back up to just about 2 liters a day. Unless I’m super hot or moving a lot, anything more than 2 liters a day makes me feel like a camel. Those two things alone could be significant factors in the almost two pound loss.

I’ve found some great motivation and I’m avoiding the things that make me bleh. When I’m bleh I don’t eat. When I don’t eat, my metabolism stops.

Three more weeks. Eight pounds. Not safe. Not healthy. I won’t make that goal, but if I get close I’ll be happy. I’ll reset the goal the first of every month.

I missed my July 1 weight goal by 3 pounds. I’m ok with that though because even though the numbers didn’t support it, I managed to get into two pairs of pants I hadn’t been able to get into the week before. I’m thinking muscle weight gain, but even so, I hope that trying to “make up” that 3 pound miss in July will drive me to work out more. It might also get me back on track with actually eating since I’ve noticed that I’m skipping/missing/forgetting meals again.
