organize my iTunes library

i exported my library.xml to my desktop.
i moved all my music to the external.
i deleted my music off of the mini.
i opened itunes.
i imported my library.
i rejoiced when i saw my playlists.

i wish i’d known it was that easy. a lot of heartache could have been saved!!

tonight i started going through genres and correcting. :)

i randomly exported my itunes library a few weeks ago.

i’m glad i did – b/c i saved over my library when i moved my music two days ago. b/c i had a copy on my desktop, i was able to save many playlists… not all of them, but many.

i’m still a little sad, but not as much as i was when i opened itunes on sunday night and saw everything was gone.

i need to get rid of the music i don’t listen to… or don’t want to listen to.

i am going to move my music onto my mini and keep the external just for photos. this way i can have the isight plugged in all the time.

or get a freakin’ hub!
