Today I called my sister. She works at the Register Office of Madrid, which should make things very easy at least for one of my great grandparents, who is from Madrid as well.
Unfortunately, even if we have his full name, we don’t know his birthday (not even his year of birth!), which makes things a bit more complicated.

So, after calling my mother, and taking into account the full name (which in Spain means two surnames), I have got:
2 parents
4 grandparents
8 great grandparents
... and just 1 great great grandparent!
but if just the first surname is enough, then I have 5 great great grandparents.
So, I still need the name of 11 great great grandparents to fulfill this goal!

I saw PurpleHeather has this goal, and I liked it so much, that I want to do it as well. I thought it was going to be easy… but we were not talking about great grandparents, but about great great grandparents!
So I have just the name of one (!), and some information (but not the full name) of another one.
What about great grandparents? That’s a bit better: I have the full name of four, and some information of the other four.
