I live in Gothenburg, Sweden.
I just moved here, and besides my husband and myself I only know three people. They’re nice people, but I’d like to expand my social circle.
And because I’m so thoroughly socially disconnected, it seems like a good opportunity to create my circle of friends deliberately, rather than hanging out with people out of habit or a feeling of obligation. I want to choose my friends according to common interests, goals, and values.
I’ve never met another 43thinger, except for those friends of mine who I knew before they were on 43things. But very often I find I admire and respect the people who choose to frequent this site, and I’d be pleased to discover I share my city with one or two other folks who use this site.
But as far as I know, there is no feature to search for other 43thingers according to location.
{Am I wrong about this? Someone correct me, please!!}
So for now my strategy is twofold:
1. Pay more attention to the field on the right of people’s page where it states their location.
2. Create this goal so that maybe someone who sees my goal will be able to assist me.
