legally change my name

Ok…reason number one

I HATE my dad and don’t want to have his last name anymore!

Also,

I just don’t like my name….first, middle, or last.

I figure I will come up with a name I really like and keep it forever. When I get married someday the guy will have to understand that I don’t believe in changing my last name to his (unless I really like it).
I’m kind of a feminist and don’t want to have my last name associated with a guy…though I’m open to him taking my last name (the one I change it to at least^_)

Of course the last name will have to go with the names I like for kids…

I will probably take my mom’s maiden name but shorten it…b/c it’s really long and hard to spell…
