Go to at least one exhibition a week

I am not seeing anything like enough work, but I am so snowed under trying to get my own stuff done before the end of term. Days are just not long enough!

Interesting.

The dung doesn’t work for me, but in terms of colour and layering, it is an interesting experience.

I didn’t manage this this week, but I lost ‘functioning time’ due to other things. It’s an excuse. Next week I will try harder.

I need to go see a lot more work to broaden my experience and knowledge.

The past 3 weeks I have been to

The knitting and Stitching show – textile artists. Some really lovely work and it fired my enthusiasm

The Islington Art and Design Fair – Very heavy with jewellery and constructed textiles, but one artist made it worth the visit with some really lovely work

The National Portrait Gallery – Hockneys portraits. Fantastic, Iloved it! More taken with his earlier work but really interesting to see the stages his career has developed through. I would love to go again.
