Green Street Hooligans

Great camera work at the fighting scenes and pretty good soundtrack but the dialogs don’t seem to work very much, I don’t know if it’s the acting or the writing but I kept feeling that something was lacking for most of it.

Fight Club

I’ve being waiting to watch this movie for months by now. The reason I haven’t watched it before is that I couldn’t find the DVD version and my VHS is dead for ages. But today I was finally able to watch it, because it was on TV. I knew about the ending and all because I couldn’t help but to watch it (the ending) on You Tube some time ago, but knowing about the twist didn’t change at all the amazing experience that watching this movie is. Yes, it is as good as everyone says, maybe even better. It’s a disturbing, utterly remarkable, mind blowing, dark, funny, thought provoking and unique masterpiece that surely deserves all the hype it was given.

I don’t know why I didn’t like this movie. I was bored to death throughout it and no matter how much I tried I couldn’t figure the reason. Maybe I was in a bad mood during it or maybe I wasn’t paying enough attention.

#46 The Prestige 2 years ago

Wow. I don’t think I’ve ever felt so trilled with a movie like I felt with this one. The ending is probably the best of all the movies I’ve seen and the plot twists are not predictable, like some movie critics said, at all.

#45 Blue Velvet 2 years ago

Surreal, disturbing, creepy, trilling and dark. It’s Lynch so what to expect other than unique and bizarre scenes? Frank is probably the creepiest villain ever and I wonder why Isabella Rossellini didn’t get an Oscar for her unique performance.

#44 Good Night, and Good Luck. 2 years ago

Much better than I expected. It portrays, accurately, the period of time where Edward Murrow, one of the most iconic journalists of all time, struggles to bring down Senator McCarthy. The Black and White cinematography and the use of real footage of McCarthy and Murrow adds a lot to the movie.

#43 The Black Dahlia 2 years ago

Probably the worst movie I’ve ever watched, it has great cinematography and a talented cast but the story is poorly told, it looks like they were lost in their own script and it has absolutely no focus.

#42 X-Men - The Last Stand 2 years ago

Pretty well-made, great action scenes, amazing special effects but a little character development wouldn’t hurt. It just looked like the director and writer, being extremely lazy, just decided to kill off some characters and exclude some others to save time and did not worried about giving the series a proper finale, they would attract thousands of people and earn millions anyway so why bother?

#41 Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl 2 years ago

Highly entertaining. It has some boring moments thought and Jack Sparrow is not as funny as he was in Dead Man’s Chest.

#40 The Aviator 2 years ago

Much better than I expected. Great cinematography and soundtrack. DiCaprio’s performance is surprisingly outstanding. Cate Blanchett is amazing, I mean Kate Hepburn has one of the most unique voices of movie history and must have been so hard to play her but Blanchett just aces it.
