I was gonna put this on hold but I really don’t want to. I just had a big amount but don’t want anymore, that’s for sure. Threw the rest of the source in the bin… I feel dizzy!!!
I was so close to just buying whatever yesterday and last night since I’d already “cheated” once… but thankfully common sense prevailed!!!
I just had a snack with HFCS!! Well a series of things led to this- I found the snack that someone had left and clearly didn’t want- I think they’d bought it from the snack machine by mistake- and thought I could give it to someone. Then I saw that someone stole some of my food from the fridge… karma or what!! So I ate it…
This is going well. Some of my close friends/family etc think I’m weird but I know this stuff is really bad, as opposed to sugar or fatty food, for example, which aren’t the healthiest things but aren’t undeniably horrible for your system, either (in moderation). I have had some bakery products which I’m not sure I can get the nutritional info for but I don’t have them often. I’ve managed to find an ice cream that doesn’t have HFCS: Carte D’Or Vanilla Light!!!! :-D yeeeyyyy!
I bought a KitKat on my way back from Paris last night. I’d already checked the ingredients in the UK and hadn’t seen anything suspicious, but once I’d taken a bite I scanned the ingredients and it listed inverted sugar syrup… and I ate it anyway. I felt a bit bad but couldn’t give up my kit kat…
I just had to throw away my cereal after finding out it has glucose-fructose syrup, a.k.a. HFCS!! I should have thought to check… will have to bear it in mind all the time from now on! Does anyone have any info about UK foods and HFCS?
