make up my mind

Well, last month was the month I was supposed to make some sort of decision. Things have been going great w/my boyfriend and he’s learning my language and told his friends in front of me that by this time next year if things go to plan he would no longer be living where he is now :-)
I did make up my mind… to leave him, a few months ago. We spent 4 hours fighting and crying and I told him that despite loving him I was deeply unhappy, had been for a very long time and he clearly didn’t intend to change etc etc etc. Something clicked, I think he finally understood that I was serious and that I meant every word about splitting up… and things have been great ever since!! :-D

... my professional situation’s sorting itself out quite nicely :-)
Now I’m living really close to but not with my parents. As for my boyfriend, I’ve decided that if by the time I’ve been here 1 year, he hasn’t taken decisive steps towards joining me (to be fair, I decided to stay for sure less than 1 month ago) then we really need to call it quits. That gives him another 4 months. I think anyone who really wants something can achieve SOMETHING towards their goal in that time!!

I’ve left everything behind and have gone to stay w/my parents. It’s all up in the air… job, boyfriend, everything!!
