Started at the gym again!  — 2 years ago

Day two… getting up at 4:30am really sucks – but my pants fit again!!!

Was sick all last week and had to not exercise. Went to Disneyland for a few hours on Saturday – so I counted that. Started back at the gym again this morning. Taking it really easy so I don’t burn out – just 1/2 hour on the treadmill.

Taking my KAPLAN GMAT book with me to study – kill two of my things at once!

Hooray! I’ve decided to just do the treadmill for 30 minutes on Saturdays and Sundays – give myself a little break and let my muscles repair from the week. I find that I’m actually looking forward to the gym…

Losing an inch in my hips has also helped my motivation tremendously!

I just got back from le gym – this is 4 days in a row… I’ve done treadmill every day and then I alternate an arm/back workout with a leg workout… so my pattern will be:
Day 1: Treadmill 30 min, Arm/back strength training
Day 2: Treadmill 30 min, leg strength training
Day 3: Treadmill 30 min

Lather, rinse, repeat…

The IPOD Shuffle armband is a lifesaver…highly recommend it..

I joined the gym yesterday and actually went there today! Did 30 minutes on the treadmill and 20 minutes of light arm work. Can’t do too much as I’m under orders from my doc to take it easy – but it was SO NICE to go back…I have way more energy!

My doc said I had to exercise more because of this new medicine. So I’ve been doing a bit o’ walking at work. Nothing marathonish but still 15 minutes is 15 minutes. And I’ve done it 3 days in a row. I’m quite pleased with myself.
