Exercised Saturday – I did a pilates video for BEGINNERS that was easier than the one I’d previously attempted, but still hard for me. Which is all that matters – I’m not in a competition with anyone. I’m just trying to improve myself.

Exercised on Friday! Which means as long as I exercise today, I’ll be A-OK for my week. I wanted to exercise more days, but I had headaches, work obligations, etc. I like that this goal is attainable even with the stuff life throws my way.
Did a video this morning, although it was too hard for me! It was an Ana Caban pilates video…and I’ve even taken a pilates class before, but this video was just too hard and too fast paced – I didn’t get as much out of it as I would have gotten out of a slower video.
So I’ll have to get an easier pilates video until I build up some more strength, and some day I’ll be posting here saying that the Ana Caban video is no problem to get through.
Anyway, I exercised today, and that’s what counts.
Saturday, October 25 – I just did an exercise video, so I am off to a good start, even though my first official week of tracking my exercise starts tomorrow (Sunday).
I think I am going to approach this goal by trying to work out every day if possible, but being realistic about my motivation and my hectic schedule. So if I try for every day and I end up with three days a week, I still acieve this goal 100%. If I end up doing more than three days a week, then it is just a bonus!
OK, so exercise is tough to make time for anyway, and I’ve never been that great at making time for it. And then in March of 2008, I was the assaulted on my way home from my gym. Sooooo…I just can’t convince myself to go back to my gym because of the negative associations and I have been just eating constantly out of stress and depression, and I have gained about 30 pounds.
Enough sob story.
The point is, I HAVE to start exercising…I have purchased some at-home work out videos, and my goal is to work out (i.e. do one of the videos) three times a week, although working out MORE than three times would be excellent.
I really need to feel healthier, prettier, and more confident, and I know I can do this.
