I know this is worth doing, and I totally want to, but I just can’t seem to make it a habit! I am going to try to plan out my lunches for next week today, and actually write them down and put the list by my work stuff and hopefully I will remember.
I don’t even LIKE to go out for lunch anymore…most of my favorite places to eat lunch near my office have closed, so I end up going to the same couple places ALL THE TIME until I am bored sick.
Aaaargh!
I could use the extra money, too…to help with the student loan goal…hey, that’s an idea…I should actually link these two goals in my head and put the money I save on lunch into the student loans, making this feel even more important to do!

I brought my lunch Monday…leftover tomato-cheese strata, which was tasty and filling!

I’ve been getting a bit better at this. Nowhere near complete, but each day that I bring my lunch to work, it seems less unnatural. And my boyfriend packed me a lunch this past Thursday! As I fell asleep Wednesday night he said, “I’ve put the leftover butternut squash pasta (that’s his specialty) in a container for lunch. Don’t forget to bring it.” What a great guy. He won’t see this entry, because he doesn’t understand why anyone would want to be part of a confessional forum like 43 Things, but I have to give him props!

Some bananas, nectarines, microwavable organic veggie pocket things (yes, they’re pre-prepared, but still cheaper and healthier than eating out). I should specify that I will count this goal as complete if I consistantly bring lunch to work four days a week. (I want to give myself the occasional day to blow money on sushi.)

Any good websites with lunch recipes? I know I could just take leftovers, but I was wondering if anyone had creative lunch ideas.
