research my house's history

It isn’t THAT important, but I know that it is possible to finish by the end of the year, so that is my goal.

My plan is to make a binder with EVERYTHING about my house, and some information about other houses on the block as well. I work with GIS, so I can make some maps and label them based on what I learn about homes in the neighborhood. And then I am also going to frame stuff like the original plat maps or other things of note and put some of my house’s history on display on the wall in the study. We need more art, and this is a cheap way to get some for a less-prominent wall.

I work with a architecture historian and he taught me the basics a month or so ago…I just need to wait for a time that both my and my boyfriend can get to City Hall, because I would feel bad doing it without him.
