Talked to a hypnotherapist about my issues with neighbor noise, he thinks it might be something he can help with. Now I need to find something to help me PAY for it.

The meds aren’t working. Spent too much time out of my place last night because my neighbor’s TV was too loud. The knowledge that I have to move AGAIN does not fill me with joy.

Went to a therapist today. She didn’t find it odd that I find noise intrusive, but it affects me a bit too much, so maybe she’ll prescribe something to “take the edge off”. We’ll see if my current meds do anything first, though. But ultimately what I need is a quiet place to live.

One week on the meds, haven’t seen too many positive effects yet. They make me super drowsy, so I take them at night now. Felt more anxious the first few days, had to cut the pills in half for less dosage. Been trying to meditate at night, it helps at the time, but I wish it would stick with me, and that I could ignore noises.

The anxiety is returning, and I don’t know how to banish it. I got a prescription for some meds from my doctor today, but says any effects might not show up for 3 weeks. I need help NOW.

I’m still getting too bothered by neighbor noise. When I hear similar noises outside of a home atmosphere, it doesn’t bother me. I don’t know how I can make it go to the background and stay there. It causes more anxiety than I know it should.

Truthfully, some of the things that used to really bother me, I’ve learned to let slide. One thing that I hate the most, neighbor noise, is more difficult, but at least here it’s minor at best, and I tell myself in my head “ignore ignore” if I hear something.
