One credit card paid off.
Utilities from my last apartment that my useless ex-roommate didn’t pay is paid off.
Medical bill paid off.

I may have a large chunk of this eliminated soon. Unfortunately I’ve had to rely on my parents again, which leads to other issues, but at least this burden will be lessened.
I convinced one credit card company to lower my interest, now on to the other. I use them sparingly if at all.
I’ve forced myself to really look at my credit card use and curtail that. But the debt is still there. Wrote to one of those debt consolidation places…but I don’t understand their “solution.” If I could pay $1,000 a month towards my debt, don’t you think I would??
It’s making life frustrating, but I am at least controlling my spending. At least to get that minimum balance down so that a whole paycheck doesn’t disappear paying them.
Been using my debit card more than my credit card, where possible. One credit card is still not being used, except just to pay off the balance, and I expect I’ll be getting letters again from the card company asking “what they can do to help.” Meaning, “WHY AREN’T YOU SPENDING???”
Well, my so-called Xmess bonus won’t do much for this as I was hoping…but it will pay off somebody and maybe a semester of Taekwondo.
Good lord. To say the least. A whole paycheck is gone as soon as I get it to pay bills. I’ve looked into debt consolidation but it wasn’t a much better option.
