learn to drive

Well this one is becoming more and more important my Husband is going to be going for surgery in January and I think that I need to learn before he does just in case something comes up and I need to drive especially as he wont be able to! Well heres to getting over the fear of loosing my life to an idiot in a car! LOL people I see everyday not concentrating on what they are doing not looking properly I Had some idiot nearly hit me and my kids on a crosswalk the other day because he wasnt paying enough attention and I want to get out in the middle of them ?? well I guess that I am going to have to do it eventually so what time is better than the present?

I am a 28 yr old woman living in the USA and cannot drive!! I know it sounds silly but after coming from the UK where driving is really not essential and I really never needed to learn to drive. but now it is time for me to do it I have got to learn at some poin my mom was about 40 when she learned to drive lets hope I can get it done before that!!
