This has been a big project. So far I have the installed the new motor, completed the electronic board, and built a battery platform in the trunk for 600 lbs of batteries. Still need to rebuild the brakes and get everything wired up before I order the batteries.
Going for it using a 1991 Toyota Celica GT that I picked up for $150 (great body, interior but didn’t run). Ripped out the engine and now ordering parts for the conversion. YA!!!
