It’s been a life long ambition to take the fundamental tools of cabin making along with a few modern day tech dependencies and to venture out into the woods and start work on a promising new isolated home surrounded only by nature and God.
I have been pondering the idea since I was 21 and accumulated much for such a voyage and had never really had the initiative to push forward mainly because….Well lets face it, You just can’t go on someone elses property and start building and living. We’re living in a time where almost every square inch of land is already owned or up for sale so to do such a thing I would have to purchase my own land with intent to dwell in mind.
Ever since I seen the movie Alone in the Wilderness the story of Dick Proenneke it’s done nothing more than fuel the passion for an adventure like this.
