still growing... 3 years ago

i have kept doing this. it varies. some days i look homeless somedays i like the long swishy hair (its long for me). the BF is definitely on board with this one.

getting much better... 4 years ago

i feel very good about the lenght it is now. it feels longer than it is. much less poofy.

doing better... 4 years ago

i am feeling better now. much less poofy.
still not to shoulders. i think if i straightened it, it would be. but im not gonna do that. just gotta wait i guess.
:)

warsh... 4 years ago

isnt it funny how some people say ‘warsh the car’ or ‘warsh your hair’. i dont but my mom does say warsh sometimes.

i am washing my hair every-other-day. it is tough. i hear that the oilslickthatismyhead on day 2 will calm down soon. i hope so. because i am having to be creative with the hair-do’s. i have even pulled out the old plastic headband (that works pretty well actually).

so trying to be good to my hair. i think it is long enough (and i toss and turn enough) that i should start wearing a scarf to bed or some such nonsense.

poofy 4 years ago

i am at the poofy stage. i hate this part. i tried to prep myself to make it through this, but it is so POOFY!
i have light brown, wavy hair. it curls more around the bottom so since it still hasnt reached my shoulders it is … oh .. just a pain in my $%*@#!

i have gotten trims (last one was about 2 weeks ago) i will not get it cut yet. not yet.

one day at a time.

maybe i will treat myself to a pretty clip or something. when in doubt add sparkle. right?

hurry up and wait... 4 years ago

so, i did get a trim about a week ago.
it is getting longer. but i am at that grow the back out longish, keep the front/bangs a little shorter stage. i dont love the hair cut that i have right now. i think it is a necessary evil though. i am just enjoying the feeling of running my fingers through it and sticking it out for the longer days.

sigh

move to seattle 4 years ago

moving to seattle has done wonders for my hair. it is all soft and shiny. i was worried i was going to frizz-out with all the rain. but it has not been a prob. maybe its the water?
