no coffee this morning, which = no cream and sugar! :)
the key – i ate breakfast! simple i know, but it really does work.
i have always used the excuse that i dont have time for breakfast in the morning.
so i brought and apple, and nuts and that was my breakfast.
very tasty. worked out well. i should keep doing this.

i have had a pretty good weekend. now that i am looking back on it…i have not binged on sugar at all this weekend (i am talking candy dessert stuff, not the sugar included in regular foods).
there are NO sweets in my house. i have been busy and had things to do. there has been a little less stress in my life. (not a whole lot less, but a little less).
i think my sugar habit is 90% emotional. (not a real shocker)
i get upset or depressed about something and i ‘treat myself to something chocolate. and then, if i am still upset, i get this f*ck it all attitude and i mow down on a bag of twizzlers or something.
so i get a gold star for this weekend. im not completely sure how i did it but i did. :)
so i have recently eaten the last of the sugary treats at my house. i think i ran out wednesday night.
last night i didnt have candy to munch on so… i didnt eat candy. i guess some people can keep alcohol in the house (me…beers sit in the fridge for months). i cant keep sugar!

so tasty at lunch.
but no starlite mints… is that progress?
plan: after logging what sugar i eat. come up with the steer myself away plan to make me stop eating it.
oh, btw, last night was a work function that was just off the charts great food and wine and coffee. so we are not even going to count that cause… we just shouldnt.

1 can of vanilla coke
2 starlite mints
i drink the coke because it is here at work and free.
same for the mints.
2 cups of coffee with creamer.
6 starlite mints after lunch.
this is way less that i usually eat.
hmmm… maybe i can enter my sugar intake everyday. thats a thought.
i have to believe that. i have been thinking about this for a long time.
i think, for now, i will be happy with just putting it on my list.
seems like such a daunting task!
