The sky was so huge at the top… the hour up was breathtaking. It was , luckily, one of the top 10 days to see the summit, and we had only come upon the opportunity it by chance. The ancient cog railroad we took up to the top had the record-holding steepest train ride – a 32% grade at one point. I just wanted to stay there forever – you could see ridges upon ridges upon ridges. If I knew how God felt, that would have been it. I was never more happy to know I had seen something spectacular.
