icy hands will never melt away

Having grossly underestimated the unpleasantness of New Zealand winters, I’ve found it difficult to motivate myself to knit as often as I’d like. And that’s the funny part – I think about it every day, and most every day I pick up a pair of lovely Brittany needles. But the absence of central heating combined with the gauge of my current project, a ribbed scarf for Chris, and the fact that I stupidly attempted stockinette stitch the first time around makes it slow going. Still, I’ll get there. And at this point we’re both happy with the results.
