finish all the craft projects I have started

I finished the quilt. It looks maw-velous! And I am done with the bathroom. No work on the cross-stitch in like a month, geez, that’ one will haunt me forever, I must finish it, it’s been over four years!!!!!!! Well I guess that list is done..mostly, anyway.

Ok, so I have 3 weeks left and I am not done at all with my list. I have 2 sides of my quilt bound, the bathroom painting is started and I haven’t gotten hardly any work done on the cross-stitch project. I am going to can the idea for Amber’s baby’s blanket. My current class is very involved and she’s not due till June, so…....I’ll work till the end of the month and see how far I get. I have to finish the bathroom at least, since we have guests coming in 4 weeks! eeek, pressure!!!!

I still haven’t sewn on the binding, but I think today is promising. I finished one project in 2 months. ouch. Well, I started the painting upstairs, too. Which is good for me. I am just such a procrastinator. Time to get moving!!

Well, this new class I am in has got me stuck in a rut. I have been glued to the computer for 2 weeks waiting for my team to start work on our project and have not tried to focus on anything else. But today I just got down on the floor with my quilt and pinned the binding to it. I ended up buying satin binding, which I never noticed, but it is going to look really nice. It’s black and almost 2 inches wide. So, tomorrow I will start to sew it on by machine. Slow and steady…..then I’ll have 3 projects to finish in 2 months.

Well, the same day I wrote the last entry I went into my craft room and finished the decopage wall art I had started. I think writing about it got me moving. I have made more progress on the cross stitch and am very confident I will finish it by my deadline. I will start to work on the binding of the quilt this week, since I just bought it a few days ago. Now I need to find a pattern for the baby quilt and get it put together cuz my friends baby is due in April!

Well I have been working on several of these projects and not finished one yet. I have made good progress on the cross stitch project. And am almost done with the decopage artwork. I hope to develop a better routine during the day now that a new college class is starting, so I can fit more crafty time into a day. And maybe get some crafts done together with my kids!

Let’s see, here are the things I want to finish by the end of May!
1) Kitten cross-stitch
2) Decorative Painting in the guest bathroom
3) Decopage wall hangings
4) Baby quilt for best buddy
5)quilt binding on tesselation quilt

That should keep me plenty busy for the next 4 months, and make room for some of the new things I want to start.
