I bought myself some high heeled maryjanes, and I’ve been able to walk around in them all day without too much trouble or discomfort :D The heels are 2.5” high. I think the strap across the front or the round toes must have helped, I still have problems in court shoes the same height.

I practiced at home last night, and I had my best friend (a guy) watch me to see if I was doing OK. With the discovery of this video…

...I think I might stand a chance at wearing heels without pain. The exercises really helped me :)
All that remains now is to practice outside again today :)
I’ve tried this on and off over the last…year or so? And it never works out :/ But, I realise I have fantastic legs that are pretty much going to waste in trainers (I’m 23, FFS!), so I’m trying again! ^^;;
Like a true geek, I watched plenty of “instructional” videos on YouTube, and they weren’t all that much help (some say walk with your foot near level, others say heel-toe-heel-toe – so, which one is it?!). I decided foot level to the ground looked better, so I practiced in my room all this week and finally wore them out yesterday evening.
I’m not sure if I was doing it properly…a few guys stared, I’m not sure if that was a good sign or not :X And I got a blister <:/
I’ll keep trying – my ideal would be to wear a 3” heel all day without falling over or killing my feet, because there are some clothes you just can’t wear with flats :/
Oh, and I’m currently using shoes with a 2.5” cone heel to practice in (I’d like to start out with lower, wider heels and work my way up, but money’s an issue, and they’re the only heeled shoes I have…).
