grow a moustache

So I am doing laundry today. I’m on my third load or so, loading clothes into the dryer when a dark spot on the wall near the dryer catches my eye. It’s one of my false moustaches. My favorite false moustache, which I had given up as lost, stuck to the wall in my apartment building’s laundry room. I thought of taking it down and placing it back on my upper lip where it rightfully belongs, but I don’t know where it’s been… germs and things, you know. Besides, it’s kind of cute and adds some much needed warmth and texture to the laundry facilities here in building 2.

But thanks to whomever saved it for me!

viva moustache mondays!

My friend Alicia and I are starting a new thing in which we go grocery shopping at Wegman’s every other Wednesday (when we both get paid—ah, being young, poor and filled with adventure!) We call these grocery trips “Wacky Wegman’s Wednesdays” and we dress really zany for these trips.

The next trip, we are planning on dressing in dresses and mega-high heels and I am thinking of procuring some good, fake moustaches for us to don. Could be exciting, but she’s shy sometimes, I don’t know if she’ll go for it. I wrote to this girl Sarah who has some good fake ‘staches and asked her where I could get my hands on some. Exciting. Even if Alicia doesn’t do it, I might. Perhaps we might start slow, first the dressing up, then the moustaches later in plain dress. I think it would freak the Cheese Lady out if every other Wednesday, we went grocery shopping in moustaches. I shall document our days here.
