using the rotary cutter after hours at work while my boss was standing there and she loved them. she wants me to bring her in a bunch to look at. I figured she would, so this was a good solution.
I finished the 3 bookmarks for my friend Hanna, in grad school who needs them, (will be pro-bono), and LAMINATED them using the lamination machine H bought me for xmas last year. Also, ordered a custom stamp online that says, in futura font, no less:
ONE-OF-A-KIND, HANDMADE
FROM 100% RECOVERED MATERIALS
IN BALTIMORE, MARYLAND USA

things are bright!

Today at work
A customer spent 20 minutes in the store trying to find a bookmark-like object that she could give with the book she’d picked out for her friend’s b-day gift. We only had this metal bookmark (rather expensive) and not really what she wanted. I am going to make ten prototypes and bring them into work and show my boss. See what she thinks… This could work!

Current selection
They are
$1.00 U.S. (plus a postage stamp?) for a pre-made.
$1.50 U.S. (plus a postage stamp?) for a custom-made. (Just give me an idea of what you like.)
$2.00 U.S. (plus a postage stamp?) for a custom-made laminated one.
Let me know.
