I really, really enjoy setting goals, big or small, silly or serious, and being able to write about my progress. I also enjoy reading another persons adventues down the same road.
This is a great site and I love being here

I love my skillet. It’s large enough for me to cook for 6-8 adults in it. It’s great for casseroles! I also love that I can simmer my tomato sauce while I’m boiling my speghetti and then dump the sketti right into the pan to steam for about 10 minutes. – I can cook some mean spaghetti yo.
TiVo is AWESOME. Hubby and I really don’t watch too much TV, but we never have to worry about missing what we do watch. And on top of that if my daughter wants to see Dora the Explorer at 5am, well there it is.
No commercials, rewind, fast forward, pause – it’s great and I don’t ever want to be without it.
Yes, sleep makes me happy. And the less I get of it the more I value it.
P.S. That’s our eldest daughter
Lyrics like this just make me happy.
As I watched you asleep
Face down in the grass,
in the park, in the middle
of a hot afternoon
Your top was untied
And I thought how nice
It’d be to follow the sweat down your spine
I’ve tried to pinpoint exactly why this season speaks to me. All I can come up with is that it follows the horrid Summer in Hell..err Texas.
Seriously though, this is my “new year”. My time for change. <3 fall
With my coffee in hand, I would sit out in my back yard every morning and feed the squirrels. I watched them build their winter nest, watched them horde the nuts I fed them, and watched them dig passed the layer of snow into the groud where they hid them.
I miss my Squirrels and one day I’ll have a new family to feed.
I should have saved this one for later. It deserves to be higher up on my list.
A little cream. A little sugar. Quiet time in the morning with my buddy named Java. Ahh
