almost 5 weeks 17 months ago

After two days rest I did a dry run to see how much better I have gotten. As of about 30 seconds ago I did 62 perfect form before I fell. That means I’ve gone up about 20 in four weeks. I’m happy with the improvement, and the system seems to be working. It is a little slower than it shows, but I do my workouts at night and don’t eat after and I’m not taking protein or anything so… This is more of the “normal” person working out progress. I would advise others to this program so far.

week 4 18 months ago

I seem to be getting better. I took 5 days off because I was at my sisters wedding, so I’m sure that has a lot to do with it but I am not progressing as fast as the program says I should be. I saw definite improvement though during week 3. I did 40 without having to wait a second in the front leaning rest whereas I usually have to stop and rest at about 30-35. I completed 50 I think. I started week 4 and I made it most of the way through the 2nd set before I started to fail. I hardly got half way through the 3rd set before I started to fail so I couldn’t do all of them. All in all it seems to be working.

It seems like it’s been two weeks. I haven’t been as strict on the training schedule as I should be. I’ve only missed one day, but I also skipped a day so I had to move everything back a day. I’m going to try to start doing the push-ups mid day instead of before I go to sleep because I get too tired and end up just passing out lol. I can’t really tell any improvement but I am doing the push-ups slower everytime, so maybe that is why. wish me luck

I started the program last night. I’m pretty soar today from only doing one routine of push-ups. I think it is the diamonds that kill me. My chest hurts more than anything. Hopefully as the training goes on my muscles will hurt more evenly so I am training everything possible. I’m definitely going to stick with it for atleast three weeks though

I can do about… 40-45 perfect form 50-55 with less than perfect form and moving arms around.

I am hoping to do 100 perfect form without fail.

Starting the program 19 months ago

In order to train up to 100 push-ups by the end of the summer I am starting a routine that I found on the internet that seems trustworthy. http://www.impulseadventure.com/weights/100push.html . I’m going to follow this closely for at least four weeks and if I am not improving as the schedule predicts I will bump up the intensity per day and add more time to recoup. I am training abs and running (once my ankle gets better) at the same time so I cannot fully devote myself to one goal, but because these are different cores it should be… fine.
