I have been running regularly for about a month now but I find that right at about 2.5 miles my feet start to hurt/go numb. I experienced this in the past when trying to run at around the same distace. I am afraid if i push it I am just going to injure myself and have to stop running. Any ideas?

I have been running on a pretty regular scheule for the last month or so with the exception of one bad week. This week i began running in the morning brfore work and again after dinner. I only run a little over 2 miles each time but I force myuself to run for 20 minutes. I figure after a couple more weeks I will bump one of the runs up to 25.
I think I would like to do this one day. For now I am just trying to run a couple of miles five days a week. Maybe I’ll try for a 10K this fall and see where things go from there.
