My room is nothing like it was when I last updated this goal.
Anyway, things I have to do today (it’s not really ‘work’ mostly, but oh well):
Do as much painting as I can get done in my room in two isolated hour long periods.
Clean teeth again.
Take medicine again.
Wash face again.
Practise juggling for at least half an hour. [tick]
At least half an hour of Italian. [I did physics instead. Half an hour of study really isn’t enough for a day of school, is it?]
Go and buy some nivea lip stuff. [tick]
Drink at least ten of those little disposable cups of water.
Walk. [tick. I decided to walk four miles away and back straight after drinking four cups of water. Boy did I rush back. Smart, aren’t I?]
and that’s alllll. Not too bad.
edit (after ticking off things, to make it easier to read, also things added):
Paint in two seperate hours. [errm. Hows about four hours tomorrow eh :)]
Clean teeth again. [tick.]
Take medicine again. [Tick.]
Wash face again. [tick.]
At least five (ish, I lost count) more cups of water. [tick. so I’ve reached the bare minimum. Definitely not stopping there today.]
Tidy the place up a bit.[Tick.]
Load dishwasher. [Tick.]
Fold clothes from tumble dryer, transfer clothes from washing machine into tumble dryer, put a load on to wash. [tick.]
I conclude that although I did all the little things, I missed out the basically top priority on the list. I suppose that just means that tomorrow I have my work cut out for me. I’m planning to get up at five and just spend an hour in there before getting into the shower to start my day, etc.

There are insects breeding in my room. There is literally no floor, there’s a foul smell, there’s rotten food hiding underneath things, everything’s broken, the bed hasn’t been changed for at least four years, etc. It’s just at the point now where it’s a health hazard and I am switching off my computer now and not going back on until it’s tidy. Buuut I wrote down on my list for today a few things that require the internet. And anyway, the other things’ll have to take a sideline too.

I think the key is to start off without being too ambitious – it’s impossible to go straight from doing next to nothing productive to studying for all of my waking hours. If I set myself daily tasks that are achievable, I can build them up over time.

as above. Fail.
Day six.. that’s today. I didn’t really write much down because I’ve been out all day, and I knew I would be. I’ve got everything I needed to do done though, albeit not a great deal. So, I think I have cause for celebration. My first successful day of this.

I didn’t even bother writing anything down as to what needs doing. I could be cheeky and put it as a success, but no. Fail.

Failure. If things that were out of my control hadn’t happened, it would have been a success.
alas, that’s not really the point. Stuff can happen any day, doesn’t mean it’s an excuse for slacking. Have to plan ahead that things might happen.

If I can do this every day until the 1st March, I shall buy myself a present.
If not, then I shan’t.
