I’m sad to think that I’ll be leaving the friends I’ve made here in less than a month. Some of them I might never see again. That’s never a happy thought.
My friend Ellen told me the other day, “Stacey, I’m happy to know you.” Someone’s happy just to know me?! It was one of the best compliments I’d ever received.

I’m meeting a lot of awesome new people. Just like anywhere else, I’m sure I probably won’t end up staying in touch with many of people I meet here, but I’ve met a bunch of really great people already, and we haven’t even had one full week of classes yet!

That saddens me a lot more than it probably should…I had 29 this morning (my all-time high, as far as I know), but now I’m down to 28. :-(
I’m sorry, I know a few of you are subscribed because you like my random political rants and entries. I’ve been meaning to write an entry/rant about the increase in goals and discourse about “curing” various political ideologies, and I still plan on doing it, I just haven’t had time. I’m trying to keep in touch with the world outside of 43T, and lately it’s been a very needy world. The political writing is not gone, however…it’s just dormant. Be patient, my dears, it shall return.

Taking a cue from Rob, I’m going to post my email, and if anyone wants to get in touch with me, feel free! I’d love to hear from you, especially all my sneaky anonymous subscribers. :)

You can always message me on 43People too. Either way, I’d enjoy hearing from you – I consider you my friends :)
