Is depression month for PhD students. It’s the half-finished projects, the burn-out, the lack of daylight (in the Northern Hemisphere, at least). Don’t worry, the spring will be better.

finished one class, but still working on a research project.
collecting data until the end of june, then it will take the summer to write it up.
finished the grant proposal, though, but i really have to make the methods section more specific.
prioritizing

getting a little overwhelmed with all the projects, and your comments on this goal have helped, esp. Jeff’s “Publications, letters, thesis, then grades…” surprising to hear a professor say that…
anyway, trying to prioritize grant writing, a small pilot study, designing a larger study, writing some articles, and writing a research article. want to get some publications already… and congrats again, adri1123.

going to take 3 classes and the qualifying exam during 2007-2008, another three classes during 2008-2009, and then will work on my dissertation during 2009-2010.
