Well I have managed to learn all the letters and the vowels and the matras that go along with them. Now i have the big challenge of spelling ahead of me and actually forming sentances of my own.

My written hindi is legible to an indian person, and they can understand what im trying to say which i suppose is the whole point of the language, but i would like to be able to write it properly.

Also, am i the only one out of all 257 whos actually trying?

Well yesterday i was so bored, i thought i should finally get on with it. My mum gave me a quick hindi lesson and with some self study i now know how to write all the vowels and about 10 consonants. Wahay for me.
