Yes Man - 8/10
Usually I’m not a big fan of Jim Carey, but he seems to be mellowing a bit as he gets older?! The premise of Yes man is not such a bad one and having come away from the film thinking that it may not be such a bad idea. It moves along at a pretty quick pace and there are some truely funny moments in it. Definitely worth a watch.
Also watched at a late night showing on Friday night was the dubbed and undubbed Django, unfortunately I didn’t get to see much of it as had a really hard week at work and a bit to drink earlier on in the evening.. so it was a it of a blur.

Saw this over the weekend, and am still trying to work out whether I liked it or not, I think Dan Craig could be a good bond, but not so sure at the moment. As for the film I left it was far more understated the the usual flights of fantasy but was fairly gripping. Will wait to see him in next movie..

I can highly recommend this film and there is so much in the film that you really have to see it multiple times to pick up on everything. Its has some really sureal moments in which leave you thinking Huh? but it is a really great piece of cinematography(?) I am going to watch again in a month or two just to pick out on the bits I missed before..
give this one a 9/10

Well one thing I want to do this year is watch more films, hopefully at cinema, but also on DVD as there seems to be increasingly less on TV that I want to watch, so last night I watched Cinema Paradiso on DVD but was really good to see again as I had not seen it for some long time. It is a beautifully shot film and the the story is one of a mans journey through, love, life and art to a conclusion that is not too sentimental but quite poignant. 9/10
